Some useful tips to get you started.

Do I need to stop moving to attack?

Lia attacks automatically while moving. Keep an eye on incoming projectiles and move through the gaps to stay out of danger.

Can I switch characters during battle?

Yes. Tagging lets you switch characters and grants a brief moment of invincibility. It has a cooldown, so time your swaps around enemy attacks and your team’s remaining HP.

When should I use a unique skill?

Unique skills can hit multiple enemies and clear enemy bullets. Save one for a crowded battlefield or use it to create an opening when you need room to move.

Do I have to pick up every item?

Dropped items are collected automatically when you clear an area. Collecting enough small orbs levels you up and lets you choose a new ability during battle.
